The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do our part we are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute.
Amount of Scholarship
The individual award is $500

The winner will be notified within 2 weeks of the deadline and the name of the winner will be posted on this website at that time.

The Big Sun Athletic Organization is dedicated to providing an opportunity for young athletes to learn and to excel. We are developing programs in all sports in our community in an effort to keep our children motivated, healthy and to teach them the value of teamwork.
2020 Scholarship Winner- Alan Le who will be attending UC Irvine to study with a major in Public Health Science.
2019 Scholarship Winners - Rebekah McCombs who will be attending Hannibal-LeGrange University to study Physical Therapy.
Kaitlin Cesario who will be attending Ave Maria University to study Child Psychology.
2018 Scholarship Winner - Anna DiMari who will be attending George Mason University to study criminal justice.
The number of awards will vary each year and this is at the sole discretion of the scholarship award committee.
